Your portrait location is completely up to you! Do you love nature? Architecture? Woodland forests, urban graffiti, open fields, vintage buildings, old barns, city alleys, waterfalls and off the beaten path locations? It’s a tough decision, and if you’re not sure where to begin, I’ve put together a list of my favorite portrait locations for that very reason. If you’re still feeling overwhelmed by all the choices but have a general idea of what you’re looking for, let me know and I’ll brainstorm them with you!

I am a natural light (rarely use flash) portrait and lifestyle photographer. I photograph family, children, sports, ballet/dance, maternity, lifestyle, senior photos, newborn and Personal Branding. My style is more candid with gentle guiding and simple direction.

Never! Why not? raw images are unedited images straight out of camera. I never sell or release these because they’re not the best representations of my work. Every photographer edits their images to make them as beautiful as possible. it’s a big part of the creative process for us and it’s really what makes up a photographer’s style.

There are times I will offer props (such a basket for newborns or a blanket to throw down or crate to sit upon) but my focus and style is more about capturing real moments in the setting we’re in & not contrived Pinterest replications. However, if there’s something you wish to incorporate, then I encourage you to bring it, only if it makes sense for the shoot. But it will be something we will want to discuss when we make initial contact.
